Usually 48 to 72 hours for full shape. You can sit on most boneless couches a few hours after unboxing, but the foam keeps recovering for two to three days.

How to help it along
- Unbox it in a warm room. Cold foam recovers more slowly.
- Pat and press each module to work air back into the foam, as Ovios suggests.
- Remove all plastic right away so the foam can breathe.
- Give it the full 72 hours before you judge the comfort or ask for a return.
